I miss my non-squishy midsection. I used to have a hot little bod and four babies effed it all up.

I’d say I missed the music, but I’m actually going to see a certain early 80’s band on Saturday night (much to my husband’s utter embarrassment - he refused to go with me). I do miss my 1980’s bod though. God how I miss it.

I miss my shiteous clothes (including but not limited to my big flourescent-colored t-shirt ties - plastic shapes into which I would feed the extra fabric at the bottom of my shirt). I also miss wearing the shiteous oversized sweaters with leggings on the bottom.

Yeah, I was shiteous - but so was everybody else. Oh - and I do NOT miss the crimping iron.

*shudder*

I wish I could remember the eighties. I guess I miss my sharper mind.

Not a fat lot. I was too young then to know any different. The 00’s and onwards are going to be the best time in my life. :)

Sadly there isn’t much I miss about those decades. Other than a few good times I had, and my youth, like a previous commenter said. That’s about it.

um. babies? the ’80s were filled with them for me.

the ’90s fairly sucked and i dont miss them at all. altho that’s the decade that brought my daughter. however, in order to get THERE, i had to live with the demon spawn for 5 years.

most days, i think it was worth it. sometimes, tho, her teenaged’ness makes me wonder……

The 80s? Being a little kid.

The 90s? Farkin’ puberty, don’t miss it a bit.

My ass is awesome. :)

Yeah, I miss my waist.
I misplaced it somewhere between 1987 and 1992, found in 1993 but after 1996 it went walkabout again.
If you see it….send it home, ok? :P

I miss having no freakin’ mortgage and all that crap - and some of the friebds I used to hang out with that I don’t see anymore. But that’s about all though… I guess..
*wanders off singing some Cyndi Lauper crap*

The cheesey early MTV videos. Like “I Ran” from Flock of Seagulls: wrap a camera in tin foil, put it in the middle of a room full of mirrors, and spin! spin! spin! What do you think they spent on that? 8, 10 bucks? A box of Reynolds Wrap and some Dramamine.

KylieNo Gravatar Says:

My mom.

But other than that…nothing. I totally hated the 80s and early 90s (childhood and teenhood SUCKED!). The late 90s to now have been the best years of my life (so far).

I miss that “I want to sex you up” song from the nineties and when it was contraversial to write the word ’sex’ in a song.

From the eighties I miss the house that we built (we had to sell)and cheaper bus tickets. I miss my (then)teenaged children, whacky comedians each and everyone of them. (They’re grown now and still as funny but they’re not often all in the same house together, with me) I miss weighing a lot less than I do now. I miss the music of the 80’s. From the nineties? I miss the freedom I felt between the divorce and getting married again in 2002.

there must be a roving gang around the country that defaces stop signs with 80’s sayings. I haven’t seen the “hammertime” on, but one by my house had “Don’t” (Stop) “Believin” added in honor of the Journey song.
