Hmmmm

Posted by: magnetoboldtoo on Monday, November 26th, 2007

I went to a blog today. Not a blog that I would normally frequent, but the person commented here so I wandered on over.

I remembered that I commented on a previous post and thought I would see if there was a reply.

And my comment was not there.

I know I commented. The blogger was asking for advice. I gave my opinion. In a very nice no-swearing-involved way. But perhaps not what she wanted to hear?

That has pissed me off.

If you put a question out to the blogosphere, you are asking for opinions. You will get ones that don’t necessarily align with your views.

But you suck it up.

I could be a biatch and say who this person was and their pathetic desperate attempt at more readers question. But you know who you are. I will not bother to comment on your blog again. My time is worth more than that. I have people to despise and shoes to drool over.

OK. Got that off my chest. Feel better now. Will do a proper *snort* post later.

But for your entertainment here is the lunch box that Boo has made me.

lunch-box-outside.jpg

Yes, a huge freaking storage box.

lunchbox-inside.jpg

The sandwich is ham, mustard, pepper, cheese, mayo and the lettuce from the rabbits cage. I am soooooo freaking thankful that I saw him get that lettuce. I am trying to distract him so I can chuck out the sandwich.

I am NOT eating that shit. Nup. I have done it before but not when it has rabbit spit all over it.

To be honest, that rabbit lettuce sanger still looks more appetizing than what I sent for Fizzy’s lunch today to childcare. I’ve never really got the hang of lunches.
These women frighten me:

Sooooo, who was it? Do I know them?

The luckbox looks great, you know apart from the rabbit spit. I wonder if that gives it more nutrition? At least he was thinking of you, it could have been grass clippings instead of lettuce.

whymommy: Will send you some then?

Fab: Well I will never know. I told Boo it was scrumptious, chucked it in the big bin outside and confiscated all of Amy’s greenery. INCLUDING the grass!

Frogdancer: He has been honing his ‘Do you want fries with that’ skillz since he was 2.

Stella: My girls make their own or get nothing. Usually it is nothing. Their choice! So I think Fizzy’s would be infinitely better!
That lunchbox is INSANE! Who would do that?

Veronica: Have you deleted one of my comments????? Hmmmm guilty conscience? It wasn’t you. I have no idea if you know this person, but she knows who she is. grrrrr. I expect to hear from her. Thanks for the heads up re the grass clippings. She had some in her cage and I have just chucked em!

Kim: Notice the label he put on it? He likes to check the colour of the insides of things and then label the outside. Then line them up in order of the rainbow song!
You are a sweetie for thinking to nominate me for the blog thingy (even though I have no idea what it is, it could be freakiest weirdo waste of time blogger for all I know!) You are now my new best friend!

Even though I have never met you, I can honestly call you a friend..

Was it me? You know how in school when the teacher waltzes in after lunch after discovering his car completely covered in shaving cream and asks the guilty person to own up otherwise EVERYONE will be getting detention and even though you didn’t do anything you can’t help but mentally retrace your steps to make sure you weren’t anywhere near the teacher’s carpark…

Oh wait, maybe that was just me…

Seriously, email me. Need. To. Know.

Cheers,
Lizzie

If it’s a blog you don’t normally frequent, it’s possible your comment ended up in moderation, or accidentally as spam…

(That’s me, always the optimist! ;) )

It wasn’t me. I relish your comments!!! LOL, get it? Relish/mustard??? Sorry. I guess I just don’t cut the mustard!!!! hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

I need to know who it was too.

Did Boo expect you to drink all of that mustard?

I don’t delete commments unless they’re actually a spam ad for real estate or V*agra, but I have had comments of mine on other sites just not get through due to moderating procedures, crazy multi-letter security codes, etc. I would bet that’s what happened to your comment. (Thinking positively here!) :-)
As for your boy’s lunch creation — I love that it’s mostly a great lunch, aside from the rabbit lettuce. You’ve taught him well. Now stop twitching your nose and wiggling your ears at me. ;^)

I know the comment got through. I saw it. If my comment is under moderation (as I do here with newies) I go back and check to make sure that I don’t make a spelling mistake. I am freaky like that. Some would say obsessional… LMAO

I have had some weird arse Spam though. Should have kept it! I almost let one through yesterday!

Nope I don’t have a guilty conscience, maybe a little bit of paranoia though.

I don’t delete comments, unless they have been double posted accidentally (then I only delete the second one) or they are spammy.

Phew that lets me off the hook! I never delete comments unless they are from someone like “Visit me” or “xzerts”. I mean helloooo.

Your comments spice up my blog! Still laughing over your threat to beat up the cricket official with your high heels… if he knew… HE’D BE SCARED!

Can Book come & make my boys lunches each morning - I hate making lunches.

And extra mustard for your sandwich? Sounds extra tasty!!

Veronica: Its OK!!! It wasn’t you :) Don’t worry about it!

Cellobella: Mmmmm does that make me a Spice Girl, cause I really don’t like any of them. Perhaps I can be a new one Coffee Spice or Freaking Psycho Spice?

Stella: No it wasn’t Stella.

Kelli: He has almost finished the whole freaking BOTTLE!! I only bought it last week.

Not that I normally comment here either, but pop in time to time from other’s blogs, but it could be that your vanishing comment is Wordpress acting up. The same thing happened to me last week on three different WP-hosted sites, and if I tried to re-post it the “duplicate comment” warning came up, so I knew they went through. I just emailed the writers and we found out that their respective SPAM filters held my message for whatever reason. Just for what it’s worth.

And I like the rabbit leftovers sandwich…should be perfect with a pint of straight yellow mustard.

Cheers,

JD

So sweet of him to include the extra mustard. Add a little cheese and you got all the food groups covered. He knows what he is doing, looking after mummy. Who else would continually supply him with fresh doonas and toothbrushes……..
